Rooms

Each of our 17 guestrooms and suites features a carefully chosen selection of antique furniture, luxurious fabrics and attention to detail. All rooms include a private bath. Some rooms feature whirlpool baths, while others have either a charming claw-footed tub or walk-in shower.

All rooms and suites include a working fireplace, individual heating and air conditioning controls, telephone, complementary wireless Internet access, and flat screen cable television with DVD player. Each room also has a CD player, hair dryer, iron and ironing board and bath robes.

Our Luxury Suites

Room 101
Caracalla "Honeymoon" Suite: Luxury Suite

With 850 square feet, this two-room suite is the first choice for couples celebrating an anniversary or other special occasion. Features a king-sized canopy bed and working fireplace with in-laid hardwood floors. An over-sized whirlpool tub framed with sheer drapes centers the second room, with another working fireplace in front of the tub and two pedestal sinks.

Oglethorpe Penthouse: Luxury Suite

Also popular with wedding couples, this 850 square-foot two-room suite is located on the third floor of the second mansion. Features a separate sitting room with fireplace, and a second fireplace in front of a king sized canopy bed. The bath has a claw foot tub with shower, two pedestal sinks, and a separate vanity area.

Grand Superior Rooms

Our Grand Superior Rooms, with a king-size canopy bed, fireplace and a large whirlpool tub, are perfect for romantic getaways. While all of the rooms at The Gastonian are lovely, these rooms are very popular for romantic celebrations and are at the top of the list of our Staff's favorites.

This room is located on the second floor of the main house. It has a king-sized canopy bed, working fireplace, shared balcony, and a whirlpool tub with hand held shower.

This room is on the second floor of the main house. It has a king-sized canopy bed, working fireplace, shared balcony, and double closet. The bath has an oversized whirlpool tub with wall-mounted shower and double vanity.

This room is on the main level of the second mansion, and has a king-sized bed, working fireplace, whirlpool tub with wall-mounted shower

Andrew Bryan: Superior

A ground-floor room with a private entrance to the outside, the Andrew Bryan room features a king-sized sleigh bed and a working fireplace. The bath has a garden-style whirlpool tub, and glass walk-in shower

Carriage House: Superior

Located in a small, separate house behind the inn, the Carriage House has a small foyer room on the first level and a bedroom and bath on the second level. Features a queen-sized bed, working fireplace, claw-foot tub with shower and a small private balcony.

This room is located on the third floor of the second house; it has a queen sized bed, claw-foot tub with shower and private balcony.

This room is on the third floor of the main house. It has one queen-sized bed, working fireplace, shared balcony, and a marble walk-in shower.

Rooms with Two Beds

The Gastonian has two guest rooms that feature two full-sized beds: Chief Tomochichi (Deluxe Room) and the Mary Telfair (Grand Superior). Availability is limited, so please call The Gastonian to inquire about availability.

This room is located on the 2nd floor of the second house. It has two full sized beds, a working fireplace and a walk-in shower.
