“Very quiet hospitable B&B”
The Gastonian is a quiet, comfortable B&B. The staff is very helpful and friendly. I felt sorry for the gentleman who carried our bags up to our third floor room. The room was huge. Very bright and nicely furnished. Best thing it was very quiet. The breakfast staff was very friendly and breakfast was cooked to order. The location is on the edge of the historical district but you can walk to a lot of the attractions and historical squares. They can call a pedicab which is the main source of transportation in Savannah.
I would definitely stay here again if I ever get back to Savannah.Reviewed by Discerningrater on 4/22/2015 via TripAdvisor
“Beautiful and truly full of southern charm”
The Gastonian embodies southern charm!
The rooms are furnished with lovely antiques and working gas fireplaces ( we were sorry it was too warm to use them). We can't say enough about the amazing breakfast choices or the delightful breakfast staff. Each afternoon the have wine and yummy appetizers and each evening delicious desserts along with sherry or port. The whole staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. Wonderful place deserves 11 out of ten!Reviewed by Linda B-HB on 4/20/2015 via Trip Advisor
“Amazing time in my favorite city”
My husband surprised me with a trip to Savannah for my 30th Birthday. He picked the Gastonian after doing some research, but not really knowing much about the city. Needless to say he did perfectly! This was my 6th time in the city and staying at the Gastonian opened me up to a whole new experience. The location was amazing, on a nice quiet part of town but still easy to walk around to some of my favorite shops and to dinner at the Olde Pink House. The staff was incredible and breakfast was suburb! And at 4 months pregnant at the time, food was very important to me! And what is that coffee they serve?! Best coffee I have ever had. I even drank it black! The offsite parking allowed us to pull into town and leave our car all weekend without a care in the world. We are going to be busy for the next few months with our little one on the way but cannot wait to visit again.Reviewed by Ashley G on 4/15/2015 via Trip Advisor
